Set of seven skulls | Approx. 7" x 5" x 6" each
This series was created in response to a prompt requiring the design of seven unique heads of the same size. I chose to explore the concept of the seven deadly sins: greed, pride, gluttony, envy, wrath, lust, and sloth, through expressive ceramic skull sculptures.
Each skull was hand-sculpted to embody a distinct emotional tone, using gesture, texture, and form to capture the essence of each sin. I integrated negative space intentionally throughout the series to create visual balance and evoke a sense of tension between absence and presence.
Together, the pieces form a cohesive narrative while standing individually as reflections of human excess and vulnerability.
